WHAT IS TRACE MY FASHION?

Trace My Fashion is an initiative taken by Fashion Revolution Bangladesh, which aims to document the
changes being put into play in order to bring about substantial improvement in the RMG sector of Bangladesh.
The point is to provide consumers with more than just a label stating ‘Made in Bangladesh.’ Many factories and
production lines are weary of new initiatives that are being taken therefore, the plan is to grow gradually and
invest in the future. On 24th April, Fashion Revolution Day, we launch the official tracemyfashion.com which
will initially exhibit the projects in partnership with BUFT(BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology). The
platform aims to introduce the case companies and remarkable initiatives in the RMG sector through introducing QR codes and inaugurate traceability

WHAT IS FASHION REVOLUTION?

Fashion Revolution is a Global board of designers, academics, writers, business leaders and parliamentarians calling for systemic reform of the fashion supply chain. Fashion Revolution aims to ignite a consumer led revolution to radically change the way fashion is made, sourced and purchase.Fashion Revolution Day (24th April) honours the one thousand, one hundred and thirteen garment makers who lost their lives in the Rana Plaza Disaster on 24th of April 2013. #fashrev also calls for changes so as to eliminate the possibility of another such disaster in the future. This is an opportunity to celebrate fashion as a positive influence, raise awareness of the fashion industry’s most pressing issues, show the change is possible and celebrate those who are on a journey to create a more ethical and sustainable future for fashion.
